Like its protagonist, Dead Like Me was killed early in life. So to keep its “spirit” alive, I’ve made some Dead Like Me wallpapers. The first four are based on the pilot episode. I’ll probably do some from later episodes — and the upcoming Dead Like Me direct-to-DVD movie — in time. Enjoy!
I spent some time a while back making Boondocks wallpapers. Just three so far. Got more in progress, but I’ll look through some episodes of the cartoon for some quotes to add (a la the Grandad one with the yellow background — picture is from a paperback collection of the comic strips, but the quote is from the first episode of the cartoon).
This should help those that may be going through Boondocks withdrawal — as of this writing, Aaron McGruder (the artist / writer of the comic strip) has gone on sabbatical, and I think the cartoon is off the air in reruns until fall.
To celebrate my achievement of finally getting my fanvid Clerktime online, I just started producing some Clerks cartoon wallpapers. Just uploaded the first batch, but I’m sure I’ll do more shortly. They’re kind of fun, as I can take pieces from different screencaps of the show and integrate them into completely new “scenes.” It’s a little more seamless than if I were doing that with a live action show / movie.
